NEWCASTLE RACECOURSE

BIO

Located within High Gosforth Park, Newcastle Racecourse is home to the historic Northumberland Plate, and is one of Britain’s busiest racecourses, hosting over 60 all-weather and jumps fixtures a year. An ideal venue for all occasions, the racecourse can host events of all kinds, including conferences, exhibitions, weddings, private parties and more.

OBJECTIVE

Newcastle Racecourse occasionally captured photography at their events, but never ventured far video-wise, particularly for social media use to show the variety of racedays they host.

TOP CLASS RACING AND ENTERTAINMENT

Since 2017, we've covered the majority of the feature racedays at Newcastle Racecourse, including the famous Northumberland Plate Festival Weekend, as well as Ladies Day, Fighting Fifth, Good Friday Family Days and lots more.

These post-event videos and 'shorts' have been widely used across social media to round up the happenings from each event, resulting in lots of engagement online and people tagging their friends.

SOCIAL HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR

Having already filmed many events over the years at Newcastle Racecourse, we were commissioned to produce a 30-second TV advert to promote the upcoming Ladies Day.  We even seen it on TV ourselves during the adverts of ITV's X Factor, which was pretty cool!

MAKING A SPLASH!

Newcastle Stampede was an annual mud run for all abilities and definitely one of our favourite video shoots of the year!  The event was hosted by Newcastle Racing & Events through the woodlands of High Gosforth Park.  All of the long video edits and 'shorts' were always a big hit on social media, gaining loads of reactions and lots of people tagging their mates.

"Cronnie Creative covered photography and videography for feature racedays and events at Newcastle Racecourse, producing top quality content on every occasion. The output always exceeded the requirements within the brief and delivered results across socials, TV and further media that was beyond expectation."
